Contact Me
Jackie King is a master guitarist, a virtuoso who crosses all boundaries and limitations on the instrument he loves.

I've had the honor to perform with Marian McPartland, Ray Charles, Les Paul, Willie Nelson, The Boston Pops & the San Francisco Symphony, Joffrey Balley, Chet Baker, Sonny Stitt, Kenny Burrell, Lenny Breau, Herb Ellis, Tal Farlow, Barney Kessel, Jerry Garcia, Stevie Ray Vaughn - to teach at Berkeley College of Music, University of the Arts, San Francisco Music Conservatory, Musician's Institute (then GIT), owned the Southwest Guitar Conservatory and Indigo Moon Records, published instructional audio and video tapes with REH Hotlines and Hotlicks, and published a book series on improvisation (Mel Bay Publishing). I love the guitar. It has allowed me a very full life around the world.
