I adore Robert's playing, and I thank the Lord whenever he can accept a gig with my group, Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA.

He is a superb player, actually one of four of my all time faves. He is respectful, yet very venturesome when it comes time to really play "out there", he knows no fear, and appears at least an hour ahead, sets up and starts practicing tecnic like mad.He gives of himself, his ultimate artistry whether there are six or seventy five people in the audience. I book smaller venues as we are restricted to Chamber Music Venues with extraordinary Pianos.

I cannot recommend his artistry enough, and he is a great pedagogue, teaching at UCLA. He is the teacher of the fine young bassist Noah Garabedian, who also plays with my Trio, I am going to use two bassists next season.

If you are a leader, run to hire Roberto, if you are audience run to hear this genius who plays on the wings of the Lord.

He was first recommended to me by his great friend and my mentor Bobby Bradford, and I am eternally grateful to Bradford for the opportunity to play with Roberto, Right on Bro, and May the Lord bless you. Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA
