    Hi, Gordon. This is Margaret Grimes. Thanks for your continued insightful writing! I did want to mention that many people forget that the so-called Beat Poets also included Amiri Baraka, Bob Kaufman, Ted Joans, and many others of African descent whose work was recorded, and there are also many great musicians of African descent who write poetry and have recorded it too, including Cecil Taylor, Archie Shepp, Ted Joans, Henry Grimes, and more. So let's hope Cuneiform will put out another box set or series celebrating these poets too, or if not Cuneiform, then another record label.
