This is a truly fascinating interview. It names names, fills in details about jazz people, places, processes, etc. Really enjoyed it. Maxine is a real jazz heroine.

This was an excellent interview. Dexter was one of my favorite musicans. I was fortunate to have heard him on numerous occasions at the Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, jamming until 4 AM with Frank Foster at the Village Gate, and playing with Dizzy and Sonny Rollins in Saratoga. I am looking forward to Maxine's biography.
