Mike has never stopped to look over his shoulder and yet he always lands in just the right place with each new album. We love his work in the South Pacific and hope he will play on forever. His legacy certainly will.

it sure will, John. Sadly, I last saw him live here in Canada in something like 1995...I hope to see him again...he's been an important artist to me since the 1970s, and The Fourth Way... thanks for taking the time to weigh in!

John, I've only recently started reading your writing, and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy reading you! Of course this review is one I particularly enjoyed because I enjoy Mike's music so much. I was talking to a friend today about it - you can listen to him again and again and it's never 'samey' [real word!] Interesting, fresh, energetic and beautiful to boot.

I look forward to more of your words now that I've found you :-)

    Hi Miriam,
Thanks for such kind words, glad you are enjoying the writing...of ourselves it's easy when you get to write about folks like Mike Nock...:)

Keep your eyes peeled, plenty more writing on the go at the moment. Thanks for taking the time to comment...and with such generous thoughts.

    Best
    John
