Nobody sounds like him, and he's playing some of the most important music out there right now. I'm thrilled to hear he's playing with Jack DeJohnette, 'cause Jack is as heavy as it gets.
He's also playing with Mark Dresser's New York quintet.

nice job, I didn't know he lived in Chicago, but DePaul has a good jazz/music program (other alumni include Greg Fishman).
