Really great obit for Rob McConnell. I knew him only slightly through Bill Ramsay, but I could tell from our several conversations that our approach to handling both bands and audiences sorta made us brothers separated at birth.
Also, I don't recall if you've ever reviewed Les
Hoopers' LA band "Live at Typhoon . Les is a great composer /arranger and the band is of expected LA
quality and well recorded.
