Oh Dear. I wonder why the reviewer feels I caused the band to suffer?

    Hi Tony,
Thanks for taking the time to write. I'm sorry you took what I said the way you did; that was not my intention, and if you take the statement in context, you will hopefully see that I was not saying it did suffer with your inclusion. What I was saying is that it's not uncommon for people (thus "people might say") to suggest that the replacement of a longstanding group member with a dep might adversely affect a group's chemistry, emphasis on the word might. No matter how good a dep is (and you were, of course, very good on the date!).

Please note, however, that while I said "some might say," I then go on to describe that this set "finds the group in a particularly loose and unfettered mood," suggesting that what some might say was, in reality, not actually the case. I refer to one of the tracks you're on, "Hot Rod," as "bringing the house down" - hardly suggestive of anything causing the group to suffer.

Again, I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way, but if you'd please consider it in context of the entire para - and as a general suggestion, rather than statement of fact in this case, I hope you'll realized that I am not suggesting you made the band suffer one iota!
