I was present during the making of this recording. My old LP got damaged and I am so pleased Dynasty is finally available on CD in North America.. This band to me was a breath of fresh air and one of the most exciting I have ever seen or heard. Always a Getz fan, I was totally invigorated as a drummer myself in the manner in which the compositions were so rhythmically exciting and the use of light and shade is moving to say the least. The entire band was so unlike anything else at the time and remains a classic recording.It is without doubt one of the best jazz recordings ever made. God bless you Stan what you gave to the world through your horn, will never be repeated.......Bill Street
