    Just a wonderfully vivid piece of writing about an iconoclastic genius. I enjoyed it very much. Your comparison to Escher was very intuitive.

    I love the article, but this one little line makes me think. I'm going to music school, and my music theory professor argues that MOST people hear music as a structured progression, not just note-by-note. Interesting topic to think about, whatever side you're on.
