My sister was Bernards pupil back in the late fifties-early sixties and my Dad helped sponsor Bernard when he moved to Philadelphia from France. Bernard had a lovely wife, Corrine--and and two babies, one of which passed away, sadly at the age of two--Pascal.

Here we are it's the 21st century and we're STILL missing Bernards presence among us. He was a visionary pianist with an insight into jazz music like no other. Bernard was light years ahead of his time.

    Bernard, we are missing you.

    Rest in peace.
