This is the very best interview I've ever seen with Motian. I very much enjoy the music he's made over the decades and love his compositions and drumming and arranging. The interviewer here (Paul Olson) sounds like someone who is sincerely interested in the music, someone who has spent time listening to it and wondering about it and dreaming to it. This interview was very well done, a good nine a.m. read as a companion to the c.d. 'Time and Time Again". Merci.
