    I worked at Louisiana Community Bar and Grille for it's entire run. I knew the Harlem All Stars as coworkers;
    we had fun with them. I can recall Laurel Watson had to be lifted up onto the 1' high stage every set because her gowns were too tight for her to do it on her gave the packed restaurant a chuckle. Boy, could she sing!! And Girl, could they play; they played the same 2 sets every Sat. night for 7 years. It gave a tumultuous, volatile restaruant some cohesion on a wild, packed Saturday night to know the songs that came next.
