This is not the original Herman Everest. It is a compilation of a couple of his efforts for that label.
Missing are some of the great numbers the band had not gotten around to record for Columbia but played night after night.
Notably missing are The Happy Song, a great little Hefti number and Fire Island. Both as well as others were on the very memorable original CD release but missing here.
