Meet Saunders Jones Jr, MD:
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, raised in Bham UGA MCG UAB MD playing sax during all of this. Play in several big bands around Atlanta as well as a combo and Dixieland. Teach @KSU in the Biology/Physics dept.

Whatever makes me feel good...musical and melodic.....not too out of the box....really old guy stuff
Your favorite recording in your discography and why? Anything by Eric Alexander. His tone is great. Most people like his technique but he does it with great tone all the time!
What do you think is the most important thing you are contributing musically?
I drive the equipment trailer.......
What are some of the essential requirements to keep jazz alive and growing?
Get the word out and keep getting young people involved.
What is in the near future?
CD for the big band and opening for Percy Sledge in October!!
