Quite by happy accident I first heard the pianist Mark Kramer a few years ago in NYC playing with no less than Eddie Gomez and Lenny White. Since then, as a fan, I have been dedicated to letting others know about his art. I am touched by his depth of feeling, melodic playing, and creativity. Just when I thought I grasped it all, I was shocked to hear some of the most energetic swinging cutting edge music come out of him. He is unassuming and kind in person, and I was later floored by his profile. Recommended. (I am not Mark Kramer or related to him!!)
