Paola Casula: Nuvole di carta
La musica del gruppo intorno alla cantante Paola Casula è un pop eseguito con classe e che ha dalla sua anche la scelta indovinata di brani provenienti da repertori abbastanza eterogenei, dalla black music di Terence Trent D'Arby alla canzone americana di Rodgers/Hart, da Joni Mitchell a Lennon/McCartney, passando per i brani scritti per lei dal compagno di vita il sassofonista Marco Strano.
È ovvio che con tanta carne al fuoco ed ecletticità sia difficile mantenere una propria cifra stilistica e così la voce di Paola Casula oscilla da un brano all'altro fra il soul (con ottimi risultati), Lisa Stanfield, una soprano classica, per poi, quando canta in italiano ("Stasera che sera"), cambiare ancora direzione. Lo stesso fa Marco Strano, apertamente coltraniano al sax soprano su "My Favourite Things" ed invece su altre coordinate quando ha a che fare con brani dal passato jazzistico meno famoso.
