Booking Jazz: A Subjective Guide
The key to overall success: Consistency. The band needs time to build an audience beyond what they already have. New business for you, derived from the jazz booking, also needs time to grow. A one-time push won't do it. Promotion, publicity and advertisingpaid and otherwisemust be attended to on a weekly basis.
Give the whole program at least a month. I'll bet you'll be swinging by then.
