Big Band Caravan

George Stone / Fred Hess Big Band / Jamie Begian Big Band

By Published: May 8, 2011
While Takeaway won't suit everyone's taste, it is music that Esbjorn Svensson surely would have appreciated. Sound is bright and clear, the ensemble tight and well-rehearsed. For those who respect the avant-garde but eschew intemperance and discord to no apparent purpose.
