U2 in Concert in Zagreb, Croatia

By Published: August 29, 2009
Though it seems that a stage such as The Claw might overpower the music, it was less a distraction than a fifth member. Its addition, in fact, made for a performance that was as complete and memorable a spectacle as this reviewer has ever experienced—an audio/visual extravaganza that would be hard to top. But who knows? Maybe next time The Claw will play an even bigger role, surprising us with a dance move or two of its own.

There were no specific highlights in the ordinary sense of the word: the whole concert was one big highlight. In fact, it was ultimately enjoyable for both the head and heart. Even if Bono were to forgive me had I missed this show, I could never have forgiven myself.
