How would you describe the state of jazz today? Parts of it appear stagnant. Other parts of it are evolving in an ever more inclusive way to excite a new generation. Jazz has seen more cutting edge days, but I am encouraged by my recent personal experiences. We seem to be eliciting a new response in the name of jazz.

What is in the near future? We are halfway through our UK and Ireland Tour. Then, as well as the record coming out in the US mid-March, there are the summer festivals to look for. At some point soon we will be recording a new album for the Neil Cowley Trio.
