THE FLOW OF SOUNDS

The love we shared so long ago

Still flows thru mellow tunes;

Passion in those sounds.

Regret, and aorrow at the loss

But compensation as piano moans

The energy when we lay together

Still active thru those songs

And the essence of your existence

Hangs over me like a halo

Listening to beautiful tunes.

Tho the actual merely a dream

Caught in the flow of instruments

Brings joy thru my soul

As I sense you thru those sounds:

Tho the image fading in the distance

The glory still surrounds.

BURNED RUNES

The passionate love of long ago

Still woven thru certain tunes

Fills me with an inner heat

Marked on coloured runes

As I sit here dreaming, listening

Remembering how we burned:

The glow, like gold

White-hot, and bold

Now pulled to the surface

Thru the energy of language

To remind youof the glory

Each time we merge.

Those moments of isolated beauty

Flowing thru my soul

Live deep within the music,

Thus I'm never alone.

WHEN ECSTASY STAYS

The dial shifting, recognition of

Constant change, perpetual motion

Inside, and all around, the energy

Taking form simply to amaze.

Shifting channels reflecting moods

All to entertain the brain

While memories of my one love

Still active every day

Roaming thru the melodies

As strangers play

The power of emotions

With logic on display.

Caught in a harmony

When musicians play

A transcrip of my love for you

Listened to every day

And the ecstasy of merging Stays.

THE LURE OF LANGUAGE

The strange need for words

To draw the map of meaning

In an ever-changing world:

The multiplicity amazing,

Would love to share portions,

Listening to jazzed organ

Guitar meticulous description

When passion is pure

Reminds me of our union

Haunting every word.

The lure of language releasing

That never-ending urge.

Talking to a shadow

Heard in all directions

Thru melodious tunes:

Our love lives in the music;

Listening, your image returns.

MAGIC IN THE CONTACT

Powerful vibrations

Echo the emotions

When love was our home

Reflected in haunting tunes

And I sense you in my bones.

Tho the actual long gone

In all those sounds

The memories of our merging

Play on, filling me with wonder

Your body to have known.

And the magic in the contact

Thru rich horn roams

Kisses and caresses

Remembering how we'd joined.

Sensing that, like magnets

If too glose together, and alone

Our bodies would stick together.

The glory in dissolving as one

Flowing thru every tune.
