We have some very important news to share and would appreciate you taking the time to read a few items below...

Reviews Needed: Request CDs Today!

We're prepping a new round of CDs and we're looking for eager writers to review them. If you're ready to review some discs, please fill out the new and improved service request form.

We've simplified and improved the request process: just enter the amount of CDs, the styles you prefer most, and any other helpful hints, and we'll take it from there.

If you're looking for specific titles, check the Upcoming Releases Center prior to filling out the form. John Kelman adds 500+ new titles a month, so it's always current.

Keep Your Profile Page Current

We've made a few changes to your profile page and we'd like you to take moment and review the new sections.

Changes:

We moved the "EDIT YOUR PROFILE" link next to your name. The number to the right of the edit link indicates how many times your profile has been viewed since August 7, 2006.
We added links to "Request CD Service" and your "Request History"
We grouped sections on your profile edit form. Please make a pass through the different sections to see how we've arranged the form.
We added a "Current CD Service" box to your edit form. If you receive CDs direct from a separate source, please list them. This is private information for internal use only and will help us better serve you with CDs.

Please make sure your mailing address is current and complete. We'd also like you to add your full bio and mini bio (one sentence, which will be attached to every page of your published work). Your street address, zip code, and phone number are all hidden from your profile page—they are for internal use only and are not shared with anyone.

Contributor Center Update

We now list just the featured writers at the Contributor Center. We also list the entire editorial staff so you can view who's responsible for the different sections of the site.

We feature writers based on their ability, activity, involvement, tenure and a few other factors.

Editorial Comments: By Email and With Your Article

We now include a link to our editorial comments in your "article published" email confirmation message. You can also view the editorial comments by scrolling to the bottom of your published article. Please address all suggestions or requests in future articles, which will save editorial time and speed up the publication of your work. Thank you very much.

Tip: Searching for CD Cover Art

We'd like to strongly encourage you to add CD cover art to all your CD reviews. To find the appropriate cover art, please search the database of AAJ covers first, then the database of AAJ:Italy covers, in case you're trying to find artwork for a European release.

If you can't find the covers at AAJ and AAJ:Italy, search the retail sites, the artist's site, or the label's site. If you're not sure how to capture the cover art URL, please read the tip on this page.

MY AAJ: Please Log In

If you haven't already, please log in as a MY AAJ user. It takes seconds; just enter your username and password, click the button, and you're logged in. Once logged in, view your MY AAJ page and customize your preferences and regional settings.
