Daily Download Update

It's been three months since we launched the Download Center, featuring a free daily track, and we continue to expand our user base and improve the service. AAJ is committed to offering an eclectic mix of quality tunes spanning all genres of jazz. We recently received this email from an active download user:

"I love your free download section. I consistently hear things off there that I really like, and often end up buying. Musician Center Improvements

Over 2,000 musicians have added their profiles to the AAJ Musician Center, which continues to grow each day.

As a musician, a profile page at AAJ can serve you in many ways. First, your page in the Musician Center will index high on a Google search, so it will drive traffic to your website. Secondly, you're giving AAJ readers a convenient way to find information about you and your music. We recently added two bits of info to a profile: a link to an available download (see bassist Dave Phillips' profile) and a link to all related articles at AAJ (see trumpeter Dave Douglas' profile). And once the calendar of events is in place, you'll have the opportunity to access a musician's appearance schedule.

It's all coming together.

Visual Arts Center Update

The All About Jazz Visual Arts Center, which is updated daily, now showcases nearly 150 exhibits and over 9,000 jazz photos, paintings, and illustrations. Look for new contributions from Brian O'Connor, David Klemencic, Jorge Lardone, Jose Manuel Horna, Juan-Carlos Hernandez, Pat A. Robinson, Richard Heiman, Eric van Nieuwland, Jorge Lardone, Jorge Luis Álvarez Pupo, Mark Sheldon, Sue Storey, Ziga Mucic and Steve Hockenyos.

Daily news has become an essential part of AAJ over the years and we've seen our news activity grow significantly in with advent of AAJ Live Content, RSS, and Google syndication.
