A Download A Day...
Published: November 9, 2005
Here's what's new at All About Jazz:
We'd like to be able to offer the greatest possible diversity of downloads, so we're asking everyone to spread the word about this exciting service. If you're a musician and would like to participate in our download program, please see our guidelines to get started. October traffic at AAJ was our highest ever (over 800,000 visitors), and we are confident that the new download offering has something to do with it.
AAJ is proud to showcase these exciting new releases at our Showcase Center.
Show your support for AAJ by clicking through to these artists' websites and listening to music from their latest releases. Are you a jazz musician or record label executive? Click here for more information about promoting your new CD at AAJ.
We made several improvements to the Visual Arts Center this past week. We now feature new exhibits on the home page and plan to rotate them monthly. We've also expanded the gallery to include 132 exhibits, totaling more than 6,000 images. Here are our most recent additions. If you're a photographer, painter or illustrator and would like to exhibit your work at AAJ, please visit our Getting Started page to... umm, get started.
In the last month we published 17 interviews. AAJ writers spoke with Billy Childs, Dzijan Emin, Borah Bergman, Tim Laughlin, Russell Mills, Burt Bacharach, Gerry Teekens, Ken Vandermark, Brian Lynch, Jack Dangers, Bill Ward, Sonny Rollins and David S. Ware, George Lewis, Stanton Moore, Jeff Richman, David Hazeltine, and Giuseppe Continenza. Look for a brand new interview every Monday and Thursday morning.
