Leaves are changing and falling from the sky as record labels begin to drop reissues into the marketplace in time for the holiday season. Here are just a few of the top reissues for the month of October.

Don Cherry Where is Brooklyn?. From 1966, this set features Pharaoh Sanders, Henry Grimes and Ed Blackwell.
Ike Quebec The Complete 45 Sessions. This double disc from the years 1959-62 features Milt Hinton and Skeeter Best.
Jackie McLean Consequence.
Booker Ervin Tex Book Tenor. Originally released in 1968 as a double LP entitled Back from the Gig
Andrew Hill Andrew!!!. From 1966.

Frank Sinatra The Essential Frank Sinatra with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. This double disc compiles 43 recordings of Sinatra's work with the Dorsey Big Band.

Count Basie Basically Basie (Navarre). A 4 CD box culminated from 101 tracks from between 1937 and 1945.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band New Orleans Sweet Emma and her Preservation Hall Jazz Band (MRI). A double disc from 1964 featuring Willie and Percy Humphrey.
Jane Monheit The Very Best of (Warlock).
Dr. John Live at Montreux, 1995 / 1986 (Eagle Rock DVD).
