On Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at 9:30 PM, Marcus Goldhaber will take the stage alongside the Jon Davis Trio at the highly coveted live theatre and music room, The Triad, during Jazz Improv's Convention and Festival. If you haven't heard Marcus perform recently, you are in for a treat as he has incorporated several new arrangements from the Great American Songbook into his show, including many favorites off of his debut album The Moment After and several original tunes from his soon-to-be-released second album.

Marcus “rivals the jazz instincts of Chet Baker and John Pizzarelli" (JazzTimes), and his live show delivers a complete sensory experience. With his unique story-telling approach and infinite knowledge of this genre, Marcus bridges the gap between old-world jazz and the mainstream.

The Triad show will be a nice return to the Upper West Side for Marcus, known in the neighborhood for his 2-year residency at The Downstairs Room of Penang, which came to a close earlier this year.
