Taking Place in Clearwater Beach, Florida from November 19-21, This Year’s Line Up Combines Returning Fan Favorites with Even More High-Profile Performers
When the Suncoast Jazz Festival returns in November after its COVID-imposed hiatus, it will be celebrating its 31st anniversary, as last year’s virtual festival marked its milestone 30th year of bringing a true jazz party to travel-award winning Clearwater Beach, Florida.
While remaining true to its early focus on classic jazz, in recent years the array of musicians who perform throughout the three-day long festival has extended to include swing, big band, zydeco, Cajun and even rockabilly. In 2019, Suncoast’s eclectic offerings expanded even further with the addition of artists such as Jason Marsalis & the 21st Century Trad Band and Brazilian vocalist Daniela Soledade.
The Brubreck Brothers Quartet, who will perform as this year’s headliners, are among several musicians new to Suncoast, including the Ed Metz Trio with Rossanno Sportiello}} and Nikki Parrott and the Al Downing All Stars. Returning favorites include Jason Marsalis, Professor Cunningham and His Old School, Cornet Chop Suey, Tom Rigney and Flambeau, and La Lucha.

The 31st annual Suncoast Jazz Festival will take place this year from November 19 through 21. The festival spans five simultaneous indoor venues and ballrooms between the Sheraton Sand Key and Marriott Sand Key, with performances rotating every hour throughout each day and night.
