SKYWARDS DUBAI INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL WINS THE BEST FESTIVAL AWARD AT THE 2010 WHAT'S ON AWARDS, REWARDING EXCELLENCE IN THE HOSPITALITY AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY!

Dubai—Chillout Productions founders and organizers of the annual Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival, is proud to announce another triumph for he festival's 8th edition that took place in February 2010 throughout 17 days of live concerts at different venues; winning The Favorite Festival Award at the What's On Award ceremony held at Dubai Media City on November 7th, 2010 with the presence of a wide spectrum of officials and professionals from the entertainment and hospitality industry, the festival draws another line of great achievements.

With 6 renowned awards on its record, the festival adds to its achievements' portfolio the 7th award since its initiation in 2003, headlining the list of favorite events and reconfirming to be the most popular festival in the region. After gaining the What's On award as the Favorite Festival in 2006, 2007 and 2009 in addition to the Middle East Event Award for the Best Public Entertainment Event In The Middle East in 2008, and the Best Marketing Campaign Award in 2009; and the Time Out Award for the Best Music Festival, the festival adds on another honor granted by its ascending fan base.

The 2010 edition of the festival was unique for what it featured in terms of music genres, new concepts, and outstanding line-up, which received an immense applaud and acclaim from both audience and media, locally, regionally and internationally.
