The new Ronnie Burrage Project on Mimikalana Records “SPIRIT GUIDES Truth and Love Music" drops today! featuring guitarist Kelvyn Bell, poet, author Quincy Troupe and could arguably be one of his most influential works to date.

Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, producer are all the hats worn by master percussionist, drummer Ronnie Burrage. A child prodigy, Burrage began to make impact at the age of nine when he presented painist/composer Duke Ellington with a poem.

Declaring at even an earlier age that he was going to be a Jazz drummer and manifesting his dream, the virtuoso is considered one of the most accomplished musicians on the World's music scene today.

Although Burrage definitely deserves wider recognition, in no way is his brilliance diminished. His musical adventures have bought him to the attention of audiences on four continients. Firmly planted in the annals of Jazz, Ronnie Burrage can be heard on more than 100 recordings while standing in the spotlight with McCoy Tyner, Gary Bartz, Sonny Rollins, Pat Methany, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, Frank Morgan, Wallace Roney, Jackie & Rene McLean, James Moody, Gary Bartz, Archie Shepp,Reggie Workman, Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, Cedar Walton, Woody Shaw, Pepper Adams, Michael Brecker and uncountable others.
