Roman Miroshnichenko Wins Gold Medal Of The Global Music Awards

The GMA winners were announced on December 16, 2022 in California.
Award-winning guitarist, composer and bandleader Roman Miroshnichenko continues to collect musical trophies. His album “My Best Songs" just won the Gold medal in the “Best Instrumental Album" category!

This is not the first success of the virtuoso guitarist. In early December, the instrumental composition “Pianino" from the album “Roman Miroshnichenko plays Daniel Figueiredo" received the highest rating of “Five Stars" and made it to the finals of The UK Songwriting Contest 2022 in the “Instrumental" category! The UK Songwriting Contest (UKSC) was founded in London in 2002 and is run in collaboration with the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers, BBC Radio, the BRIT Trust, the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, and the World Music Trust. UKSC is one of the most prestigious composers' competitions in the world. The UKSC jury includes leading producers and artists, gold and platinum album holders, Grammy, Emmy, CMA and BRIT Award winners. Among them are British producer and CEO of Epps Music Productions Stuart Epps (known for his work with Elton John, Robbie Williams, Led Zeppelin, George Harrison, Oasis), BRIT Award winner, producer, songwriter and best music director Simon Ellis (S Club 7, Britney Spears, The Olympics, Westlife); producer, music director, arranger and doctor of music Richard Niles (Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Boy Zone, Mariah Carey, Take That, Cliff Richard) and many other representatives of the British and international music industry.

And in November 2022, Roman Miroshnichenko achieved success with the composition “Pianino”, becoming one of the nominees for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, along with Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Diane Warren, Billie Eilish, Carlos Santana, Alan Silvestri, John Williams, Hans Zimmer and many other musicians. The composition “Pianino" is included in the album “Roman Miroshnichenko Plays Daniel Figueiredo", which was released at the end of 2021 on the Brazilian label MJC Music. The album contains 10 tracks composed by two-time Latin Grammy winner Daniel Figueiredo. The material of the album was co-produced with Roman Miroshnichenko, who recorded guitar parts to the accompaniment of St. Petersburg Studio Orchestra and Brazilian pianist Ranieri Oliveira.

Roman Miroshnichenko is a multi-Award virtuoso guitarist, composer and producer. He is one of the premier guitarists of the new generation of the jazz-fusion music. Voting member of the Recording Academy/GRAMMY. He has received a total of 40-plus nominations with 16 wins in multiple international songwriting contests and music awards in 6 countries, including four the Independent Music Awards, three the Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominees, 1st Prize of the USA Songwriting Competition, 1st Prize of the International Acoustic Music Awards, Gold medal of the Global Music Awards and 4-times laureate of the United Kingdom Songwriting Contest. Voting member of the Recording Academy/GRAMMY.

His soaring career as an artist includes numerous collective performances, and recordings with such world—renowned musicians as Steve Vai, Larry Coryell, Al Di Meola, Jennifer Batten, Simon Phillips, Marco Mendoza, Gary Husband, Stuart Hamm, Heather Headley, Paul Wertico, Trilok Gurtu, Virgil Donati, Djivan Gasparyan, Bickram Ghosh, Joao Donato, Richie Cole, Daniel “Pipi“ Piazzolla, Charlie Bisharat, to name a few.
