Led by guitarist/vocalist Michael Moore, Tin Scribble take musical paths not traveled by many, but well worth the journey. With music reminiscent of prog legends like Hawkwind, Gong, King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Genrator, Tin Scribble is a force on the progressive rock front to be dealt with. Along with the live re-recording of the band's debut CD, Tin Scribble are fervently working on their follow-up studio album, tentatively titled The Most Unaccountable Of Machines. The band hope to have the album completed for release in late 2008.

Tin Scribble arose from the ashes of Michigan art-rock troupe House of Usher, who released a well-received CD in the late 1990s called Body Of Mind. Band members Michael Moore and bassist Mark Jardine decided to form a new group to take their musical vision a step further, thus the birth of Tin Scribble and the release of a successful slice of eclectic prog Children Of Saturn. “I was itching to listen to this album as, in a sense, as a Capricorn I am a 'child of Saturn' and secondly because I found the cover photograph intriguing (for 'intriguing' read 'a little scary'). Michael Allen More (guitar, vocals, keyboards) wrote all but one of the tracks and was in the band House Of Usher with Tin Scribble bass player Mark Jardine. Also in the band is Bryan Atterberry (guitar, Celtic harp, synth) and Clinton Sabon (drums) with guest musician Colleen Cameron (piano, flute, voice, backing vocals). To get the best out of this album, listen to it on a decent hi fi or headphones. I say this because I also played it on my laptop, which is not that good for sound anyway, but the difference was huge. Along with Michael Moore and Bryan Atterberry who plays guitar, synthesizer and Celtic harp, Tin Scribble's new line-up includes George Bous on drums and Arabic percussion and William MacLoud on bass and double bass. In support of Tin Scribble's new CD releases, plans to tour in 2008 are currently in the works.
