'New Shapes' Joint Album By Guitar Virtuosos Roman Miroshnichenko & Henrik Andersen Featuring Percussionist Trilok Gurtu

Throughout incredible acoustic guitar music album, the duo demonstrate their fantastic instrumental skills, musicality and deep knowledge of jazz-fusion, flamenco, latin.
Prominent guitar virtuosos Roman Miroshnichenko and Henrik Andersen to release new joint album «New Shapes» they recorded latest February-July in duo and joined by special guests: World’s most Influential percussionists Trilok Gurtu (John McLaughlin), Bickram Ghosh (George Harrison), Frank Colon (Manhattan Transfer), Gumbi Ortiz (Al Di Meola) and Grammy-winning violinist Charlie Bisharat (Shadowfax). New Shapes is a unique mix of nylon and steel string guitars, Indian tablas and konnakol, Brazilian samba, Russian folk, Cuban and Mediterranean rhythms.

About Roman Miroshnichenko

Roman Miroshnichenko is one of the premier guitarists of the new generation of the jazz-fusion music. He has performed/recorded with such world-renowned musicians as Steve Vai, Larry Coryell, Jennifer Batten, Simon Phillips, Marco Mendoza, Gary Husband, Stu Hamm, Paul Wertico, Djivan Gasparyan, Dominique di Piazza, to name a few. He has received numerous accolades, including four The Independent Music Awards, 1st Prize of the USA Songwriting Competition, 1st Prize of the International Acoustic Music Awards, Global Music Award and Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee.

About Henrik Andersen

Award-winning guitarist, composer, actor & singer, Henrik Andersen graduated from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory of Copenhagen with a master in guitar. He became a student of the world-famous rhythm phenomenon Trilok Gurtu, studying south Indian vocalized math rhythms “Konnakol". Today, Henrik Andersen is widely considered an expert in Konnakol. Henrik is the 15th Annual Independent Music Awards Winner and 1st Prize Winner of the International Acoustic Music Awards.

New Shapes CD’s are available at Bandcamp. Among with previous Roman Miroshnichenko’s The Sixth Sense release, joint album New Shapes special CD's edition had earned a Japanese stores distribution.
