This Monday, May 3rd, we'll present another edition of our special feature, MONDAY WITH THE MASTERS on MOJA Radio. This time the focus is on one of the most important drummers in jazz today, LENNY WHITE, while we celebrate the recent release of his latest solo album, the brilliant “Anomaly." You'll hear all about his beginnings in New York City and his emergence at a very young age including Jackie McClean, Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard. You'll hear how he almost did NOT join Return To Forever, how he became a master of fusion as a member of RTF and a major solo artist as well. Listen for MONDAY WITH THE MASTERS twice every Monday, at Noon Eastern/9 AM Pacific, with a replay Monday night at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific and this week we place our spotlight on the great, LENNY WHITE!

Join Russ Davis as he gives you an hour of nothing but the freshest MOJA on THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE every Thursday at 10 AM east/7 AM West with a replay at 10 PM East/7 PM West, and twice again on Sundays at 10 AM & 10 PM Eastern. This week you'll hear more from 3 albums we debuted earlier, master drummer Lenny White with special guests like Stanley Clarke, Victor Bailey, George Colligan & others on “Anomaly," keyboard master Jacky Terrasson on his new work “Push," followed by the funky brass band from New York, The Underground Horns and their great new work is titled “Funk Monk." Every Friday beginning at 7 AM until midnight Eastern time we'll begin each hour with a classic piece of Jazz Fusion history with our special feature we call IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION. This Friday, May 7th, we'll present a special feature we call “CHICK COREA'S GREATEST FUSION HITS." As we celebrate Chick's return to the Blue Note in New York, May 4th-9th & May 11th-16th for a two week engagement to pay tribute to one of his musical heroes, Bill Evans with former Evans trio members Eddie Gomez on bass & Paul Motian on drums and special guests John Scofield and Hubert Laws, we'll look back at all the history Chick made as a solo artist, with Miles, RTF and more. You'll hear it all if you join us for “CHICK COREA'S GREATEST FUSION HITS," on this week's edition of IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION.

This Saturday, May 8th, we'll focus on one of the living masters of jazz as he returns to the city where some of his greatest moments have occured as we present our weekly feature WORDS & MUSIC on MOJA Radio this one titled “CHICK COREA IN NEW YORK!" Chick returns to the Blue Note in New York, May 4th-9th & May 11th-16th for a two week engagement to pay tribute to one of his musical heroes, Bill Evans. Joining him on this unique gig, billed as “Further Explorations of Bill Evans," are former Evans trio members Eddie Gomez on bass & Paul Motian on drums, with special guests John Scofield and Hubert Laws joining in during the second week. This gives us a chance to remember some of Chick's finest moments in New York, including working with Miles Davis, Return To Forever, celebrating his 60th birthday with another two week run and more! Interview segments followed by music will begin each hour from Noon through Midnight Eastern time (9 AM-9 PM Pacific). Join us for “CHICK COREA IN NEW YORK," on this week's WORDS & MUSIC.
