Keys To Venezuela: Klavierhaus Shines The Spotlight On Venezuelan Jazz Pianists In July

Our Venezuelan Jazz Piano Series celebrates the deep musical and cultural ties between Venezuela and New York City. We are thrilled to bring together some of the most talented Venezuelan pianists in the city to share their unique musical perspectives with audiences.

In celebration of Venezuela's Independence Day on July 5, Klavierhaus, New York City's premier fine piano showroom located at 790 11th Avenue at 54th Street, New York, NY 10019, is hosting a series of Venezuelan Jazz Piano performances throughout July. Produced by Jim Luce and Charles Carlini, the series will feature three of the finest Venezuelan pianists in New York City.

The performances will begin on July 12 with Cesar Orozco, followed by Silvano Monasterios on July 19 and Benito Gonzalez on July 26. These shows will take place at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm each Wednesday in July, and tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance or $30 at the door by visiting nycjazzpianofestival.com.

The Venezuelan Jazz Piano Series promises to be a unique and exciting event, showcasing some of the most talented Venezuelan pianists in the city. Each artist will bring their own unique style and sound to the stage, creating an unforgettable experience for jazz fans.

Cesar Orozco is a pianist, composer, and arranger who draws inspiration from Cuban and Venezuelan music traditions. He has performed with artists such as Paquito D'Rivera, Pedrito Martinez, and John Patitucci.



Silvano Monasterios is a pianist, composer, and arranger whose music blends elements of jazz, Latin American rhythms, and classical music. He has performed with artists such as Ira Sullivan, Larry Coryell and Nestor Torres.

Benito Gonzalez is a Grammy-nominated pianist known for his powerful and complex playing style. He has worked with jazz greats such as Kenny Garrett, Roy Hargrove, and Christian McBride.

The Venezuelan Jazz Piano Series is part of the new weekly Klavierhaus Wednesday Night Jazz series, which aims to showcase the finest jazz pianists from around the world.
