The 7 Virtual Jazz Club is proud to announce the winners of the 7th edition of the contest and to launch the call for entries for the 8th edition.
During a live streaming event, the judging panel and the finalists joined the award ceremony for the Pros & Amateurs and the Under 25 category.
Pros & Amateurs’ category
First prize went to Israeli saxophonist Daniel Zamir and his composition Hall of the Culture." First prize included a live concert in Jazz Club Ferrara (Italy) and a one day recording session at The Jazztone Studios (Spain). Second prize went to American pianist Dave Meder for his composition I Look for Religion in War." Second prize included a live concert in Jazz Club Urbino (Italy) and two hours of free consultation on the Canadian jazz market sponsored by Chronograph Records (Canada).Under 25 category
First prize went to Norvegian group Bliss Quintet with the tune Dramaqueen." First prize included a live concert in Jazz Club Ferrara (Italy) and a one day recording session at The Artist Garage (Italy). Second prize went to the French group Quartz for their composition Dame de Coeur." Second prize included one year artistic consulting sponsored by In Vivo Agency (France), a masterclass at the Conservatorium of Maastricht (Netherlands) and a one day recording session at Giant Sheep Music (Denmark).Special Prize Winners
