The 7 Virtual Jazz Club is proud to announce the winners of the 6th edition of the contest and to launch the call for entries for the 2022 edition.
Milan, February 13th 2022, during a live streaming event, the judging panel and the 7 Virtual Jazz Club finalists (2021 Edition) joined the award ceremony for the Pros & Amateurs and the Under25 category.
Prize: Masterclass (CvA program) offered by Conservatorium van Amsterdam; Live Concert in Jazz Club Ferrara (Italy); recording equipment and advertisement.
Second Place: English group led by bassist Misha Mullov-Abbado for the composition The Infamous Grouse."
Prize: Live Concert in Jazz Club Ferrara (Italy); Recording equipment and advertising.
Third Place: Swedish Big Band Tolvan Big Band for the composition Interactions."
Prize: Recording equipment and advertising.
Prize: Summer Workshop offered by Conservatoriun van Amsterdam; Artistic consulting of the length of one year offered by Taklit Publishing & Production Agency (France); Recording equipment and advertisement.
Second Place: Belgian group Cobalt Trio for the composition Milan's Blues."
Prize: One year contract proposal offered by JazzMedia and More Agency (Germany) including: booking, media work, promotion; 500€ in money prize; recording equipment.
Third Place: Indonesian pianist Kasyfi Kalyasyena for the composition Change."
