2007 Telluride Jazz Celebration Schedule Update / 10% Discount for Tickets Bought Online Through July 15

The schedule of events including concert times and venues for the 2007 Telluride Jazz Celebration (TJC) from August 2-5 has been finalized with theexception of a few free outdoor concerts for which the artists appearing remain to be announced.

In addition, tickets bought online at the event's websitewww.telluridejazz.org will be discounted10%through July 15. To receive the discount enter Offer CodeNWLR,then click “Recalculate" and complete purchase.

Tickets range from Single Day passes at $50, to a 3-Day Park Pass at $125 to a Weekend All-Access Pass at $165 to patron passes at $675.

Guitarist John Scofield has been named this year's guest of honor andwill appear with Trio Beyond featuring drummer Jack DeJohnette & keyboardist Larry Goldings and with keyboardist John Medeski & drummer Adam Deitch.As a tribute, the TJC renamed its main stage “The John Scofield Stage" for the duration of the event. Other artists scheduled to appear as headliners at the 2007 TJC include: guitarist Bill Frisell; organist Dr. Lonnie Smith; trumpeters Roy Hargrove and Arturo Sandoval; trombonist Steve Turre; Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings; vocalists Giacomo Gates and Roberta Gambarini; bassist/vocalist Esperanza Spalding; Bola Abimbola; Tradiciones; and the Marco Benevento Trio.

The 2007 TJC is the 31st edition of the festival to take place in Telluride, a National Historic Landmark District located at an elevation of 8,750 feet in a box canyon in the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado. Founded in 1878 as a mining community,Telluridehas evolved into a world-class ski and golf resort offering superb conditions for summer, fall and winter outdoor recreational activities as well as a calendar of world class cultural events.

Since 1977, the TJC has annually presented an all-star line-up of world-renowned artists in concert and proudly represents the art form of jazz in Telluride's eclectic annual cultural calendar that also includes festivals devoted to Bluegrass,Mountain Film, Blues & Brews, Chamber Music,Wineand a world-renowned International Film Festival.The TJC is presented by No Wasted Notes along with the Raynier Institute & Foundation, Mountain Village Owners Association and US Bank of Telluride among other sponsors.

Weekend All-Access Pass: (Advanced sales limited to 500) - $165 Entry to Town Park Stage and participating night venues, on a 1st-come 1st-served basis after 1st Priority Patrons, Sponsors and Artists are seated.

Patron Pass:$675 First Priority entry to all participating Night Venues and events, special stage-side seating at Town Park, and food and beverage catering at Town Park in the Patron Pavilion. In addition, patrons are invited to opening and closing parties and special sponsored events throughout the weekend.

John Scofield is one of the most prolific, progressive and influential guitarists and composers of our time. In honor of his long-time friendship with the TJC, this year's main stage will be named “The John Scofield Stage". He will performing in the following contexts:

Trio Beyond- John Scofield, Jack DeJohnette & Larry Goldings - A powerhouse trio featuringMiles Davis alumnus DeJohnette, Downbeat Magazine Readers Poll 2006 “Drummer of the Year," Scofield and the talented Goldings on keyboards - released sensational CD “Saudades" on ECM in 2006.

Scofield, Medeski & Deitch:Scofield teams up with organist John Medeski (the Indirecto CD “Out Louder" by Scofield and Medeski, Martin & Wood was a top jazz CD of 2006 & 2007) and drummer Adam Deitch.
