Tim Lowerson
Tim Lowerson, originally from England, is an experienced saxophonist and composer based in Oslo. With many years of experience as a performing musician, Tim has played both in Norway and internationally. He has participated in numerous recordings, both as a bandleader and as a freelance musician.
Tim has founded and led several ensembles, including Kinetic Brass Collective, Luna Horns, Lucky Novak, and Sounds of the Unexpected. He has also performed with groups such as Oslo Swingers Club, Flying Rabbit, Oslo Gnawa, and Maghreb Funk, and has been part of the Django jazz scene in Oslo. Throughout his career, Tim has explored a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, electronica, reggae, funk, soul, and folk music.
His musical versatility and creativity have made him a recognized figure on the Oslo music scene.
