Tiago Mineiro

In 2005, after studying with great musicians from Minas Gerais and graduating from the State Conservatory of Varginha, he moved to São Paulo to immerse himself in his musical career, studying with one of the greatest jazz teachers in Brazil, pianist Wilson Curia. He was also a student of the first Advanced Hammond class (organ) in Brazil, recognized by Suzuki-Hammond International, a course taught by Emílio Mendonça.

In 2008 he began working with the legendary guitarist Lanny Gordin and the band Kaoll, resulting in the album “Auto-Hipnose”, an instrumental CD with more than 5,000 copies sold. The album features the distinguished participation of guitarist Michel Leme and compositions by Tiago with Brazilian guitar genius, master Lanny. There were more than 150 presentations in 11 states.

In 2009 Tiago becomes part of one of the biggest national rock bands, Made in Brazil, participating in the recording of the band's first official DVD commemorating 48 years of existence.

A reference band in the Jazz-Funk style, Mineiro is the founder, along with drummer Thiago Sonho, of Funkessencia. The group, in addition to having an instrumental authorial work, follows one of the greatest artists of the genre in Brazil, Tony Tornado. Tiago does the music production and arrangements for Tony Tornado's concert, as well as the work of the singer's son, Lincoln Tornado.

With musicians Maurício Leite and Odilon de Carvalho, he is part of NUbalacobaco, an instrumental trio based on Brazilian music. The group travels with shows and workshops throughout the national territory.

In 2015, she started a duo with one of the greatest singers in Brazil, Claudya (winner of major song festivals in Brazil and abroad, started her career in “Fino da Bossa”, was recognized worldwide for her performance in the musical “Evita”). Released in the second half of 2016, the duo recorded the album “Para Semper Amanhecer”, with compositions by Mineiro and Claudya, starting a tour of theaters throughout Brazil.

Tiago also participates in the acoustic format presentations of one of the biggest national metal bands, Almah, having participated in the recordings of the last two albums: “Unfold (2013) Japan Version, and the recent “E.V.O” (2016).

In 2019 and 2020, Tiago accompanied the tour of singer Edu Falaschi (ex-singer of Angra, Almah) in his 25-year career celebration. In 2017, he recorded the CD “Moonlight” with the singer's greatest hits in piano, voice, guitar and string quartet format. Tiago, in addition to recording the pianos, also signs the arrangements and production of the album together with Edu. The disc was released in Japan, Europe, USA and Brazil. Also in 2019 Mineiro participated in the recording of the DVD "Rebirth of Shadows" as one of the special guests, under the direction of conductor João Carlos Martins and orchestra Vila Lobos, alongside names such as Guilherme Arantes, Kai Hansen (Helloween) among others.
