The Sound of the North Big Band

The Sound of the North Big Band is made up of some of the UK's finest young jazz musicians. The band plays only original compositions and arrangements, and was shortlisted for the MBF's Peter Whittingham Award for Innovation in Jazz Music in 2008. The band also recently won the Terence Greaves Prize for Big Band Music.
