Syna Awel

Karim Ziad, drummer, percussionist arranged this new album in which we find around Syna Awel and himself, David Aubaile on piano and flutes and Pierre Bonnet on bass. Sung mainly in Berber language but also in French, these ten songs make us travel in oriental atmospheres, bendirs, Krakeb and derboukas are for many. But the piano also instills jazz or even pop harmonies. By listening, we will also hear some Occitan influences. Music doesn’t like borders. In this beautiful setting of sounds, shaped by inspired musicians, the voice of Syna Awel can develop its ease, its power in all its nuances.  Karim Ziad, drummer, percussionist arranged this new album in which we find around Syna Awel and himself, David Aubaile on piano and flutes and Pierre Bonnet on bass.
