Patricia Dallio
In 1979, DALLIO auditioned for the Canterbury Scene band NATIONAL HEALTH; however, she was determined to play acoustic piano, and they wanted her to play electric keyboards. She had not performed on ART ZOYD's follow-up to the debut (released in 1979), but was asked to return to ART ZOYD for the 1980 album, "Generation sans Futur", this time playing both the grand piano and electric piano.
Not long after, she was one-fourth of THE ALAIN ECKERT QUARTET -- ALAIN ECKERT was ART ZOYD's guitarist, and their 1981 album is marvellous.
Since 1992, she has put out seven solo albums and been involved with other projects such as the creation of a DVD- Rom entitled "Sonocite".
Aside from her piano (both electric and acoustic) and keyboard work, she has experimented with producing music on computers and with sampling. Her experimental and beautiful music which is often a mixture of electronic and chamber rock/ academic music should appeal to ART ZOYDians, and can be minimalistic and complex. Her later releases are more complex. Source: Logan
