Nichapa Jittaleela Air

Nichapa Jittaleela is Thai female Jazz Pianist, Vocalist, Composer and Producer which many people known her name in the name of “Air”. She is the first Thai female Jazz Pianist-vocalist who performed in many Jazz Festival/concerts both national and international stages with the band under her name.

she started to study the piano when she’s 5 years old. She’s Interested to learn about music theory and jazz Composition later with Professor Manrat Srikaranonda founder of Faculty of music Silpakorn university, also National Artist. 

In 1998, she had a chance to recording her vocal in her original music composition and was broadcasting on radio for the first time. This work is the music she’s written for the shampoo product (Rejoice), in that song name “Be a Better You” that is her cooperated piece of music works for a very well-known top advertising agency of the world named “Leo Burnett company”.

In 2006, she created her own music label named HLS music Thailand to released the first compilation album named “The Devine comedy” (included to produced first version one of the single of JuiJui’s song named “Kor Yang Tee Bok” who is Sony music Thailand’s artist). She’s studied recording certificated at School of Audio Engineering (SAE) Singapore in 2007. Later HLS music produced many successful Thai artists such as Tina Suppanad, and The Painter band.

     After that, in 2008, she began seriously study about jazz piano with Professor Nu Vudhivichai and continued to studied piano performance for the master degree at Conservatory of music Rungsit University in branch of Jazz studies. It made she has the opportunity to study the piano more with Dr. Nop Prateepasen and. Dr. Denny Euprasert , Dean of The conservatory of music Rangsit university who is one of the best Asian jazz pianist, National Artist, and also jazz educator in Asia and USA.  In addition to studying the piano, this is the first time that she seriously studied to singing with Professor Parichart Euprasert in this College of Music at Rangsit University. She’s graduated the master of music degree in Jazz studies with major piano, minor vocal. She is the faculty and head of piano department at SCA college, Siam university from 2011-2019.

2008: Winner excellence award of Taichung International Jazz Festival Piano competition, Taiwan.
2005: 2nd Winner music award of Thailand Blues contest.
      Outstanding prize Solo instrument, Thailand Blues contest.
2003: 1st Winner music award of CMU music awards, Thailand.
2001: 1st Winner music award of Tros Music Mix, Thailand.
1998: Excellence award of Thailand Electone competition
1996: 2nd Winner award of Thailand Electone competition.
