Justin Schornstein
Justin Schornstein is a bassist and composer living in Boston, MA. Justin graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music, with Degrees in Performance and Film Scoring and minors in Orchestral Conducting and Video Game Scoring. As an artist, Justin is interested in advancing the role of the bassist as a composer and producer. His current work attempts to reconcile technology and organic music, in the form of his upcoming solo record and quartet record. In addition to his work as a composer, Justin has performed and/or recorded with David Fiuczynski, Kenwood Dennard, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Lalah Hathaway, Paula Cole, Don Was, Nona Hendryx, The Doubleclicks, Joe Travers (Zappa Plays Zappa, Duran Duran) and Bill King (Janis Joplin).
