Governor Tom

Governor Tom is a musical character created by Tom Wood, an actor/writer/musician known for performances in a dozen films including The Fugitive, U.S. Marshals, Apollo 13 and Under Siege. Governor Tom started as a character in a self-penned television project showcasing new music and creating opportunities for musicians to benefit from on-camera performances. The name stuck. A singer at heart, it wasn’t until Tom began engineering, mixing and producing original material that his love for music exploded back to life. As an actor, he grew weary of being a mouthpiece for others. As a musician, he's free of that restraint - he can speak from the heart, assured of his intent - and achieve his most revered goal: to write, to create from a blank page, and share the results with a worldwide audience.
