Glenn Stevenson

I have been playing and recording music since childhood. I began playing the double bass as a teenager. I have been lucky to have worked and played with many generous and sharing musicians ever since. I have been the long-standing bassist with the Linda Nash (my wife) Trio for about 35 years. With the Trio, I've appeared with The Al Downing Jazz All Stars, Bobby Enriquez, Profiles In Jazz Big Band & Slide Hampton as well as opening for Al Dimeola, Tito Puente, Dave VanRonk, Slide Hampton, Joey DeFrancesco, Jimmie Vaughan and Brian Bromberg

In addition, I have played as a free-lance bassist for many local acts for the last 30 years or more. I'm influenced by all kinds of music, sound, and art in all its forms. I am currently appearing several times a week with Hot club of SRQ in and around Sarasota FL. Source: Glenn Stevenson
