Bob Bruce

Bob Bruce sas been playing professionally in Chicago for the last 25 years. Specializing in jazz guitar, he also plays pop and classical favorites. Bob studied with famed teacher Jack Cecchini and studied at the Bloomschool of Jazz and the American Conservatory of Music as well as 3 years with famed jazz guru Charlie Banacos. He was one of 6 performers chosen to play for the world reknown classical guitarist Oscar Ghiglia in a master class at the American Conservatory of Music, in which he received praise from the Maestro. Bob has been "gigging" around Chicagoland playing numerous private parties and corporate events. He also teaches jazz and classical guitar to all levels of students.

Credentials/Background

Bob teaches out of his home to private students in both classical and jazz guitar. His philosophy is to make the lesson fun and interesting while teaching the student important principles and techniques in guitar. Lessons are available during evening weekday hours from 7 to 8PM and weekends during the day. Once a month "seminar" type lessons are also available. These are 90 minute intense lessons.
