Legendary bassist Ron Carter and the Berklee World String Orchestra are joining forces to perform the music of Oscar Pettiford on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston. The concert starts at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $15 and can be ordered online. Carter is one of the most widely recorded bassists in jazz history, playing on more than 2,000 albums.
