BARRY E. FRY

I first picked up my Mom's National Hawaiian Dobro guitar at 8 years of age. A family friend converted it from a lap steel to a traditional Spanish guitar. I played in rock bands throughout high school and continued at Lebanon Valley College playing in their jazz band all four years. After college, I joined a lounge and show group playing 6 nights a week, booking out of Harrisburg, PA. After that I had various gigs on the lounge/ show circuit including a stint with a club house band for almost two years. I am still playing guitar with two local well-known big bands along filling in on guitar and bass with other groups, local show pit bands plus my solo work.

Gear

Archtop synth guitar (custom), Archtop guitars, 7 string guitars (steel and nylon) flamenco guitars
